We have been developing projects for integration of Immigrants from the very beginning of the office life-time, we suffer from depopulation and we see this sector of the population as a solution, more than a problem. We still have the problem of the people moving to live in big cities and we want to integrate the foreign population better. Since 2018 we are leading a project about silver economy and we are aware of the potential of silvers so this project matches two sectors that we are working with and we see as main actors for the problem that we are facing.
We are a very big territory with a high number of retired people, the index of elder adults are 176%, we see them as a sector of the economy and many of them are still active . In terms of immigration our index is not so clear, as is not desegregate this index, but we have contacts with associations that work with them and there is still many to be done to help them in terms of integration, especially to women.

The Provincial Government of Teruel (Spain) is the institution that defends the interests of 236 municipalities that constitute the local governments of Teruel.
From the year 2001, inside the local authority there exists an office that promotes the participation in European programs that could help to achieve the reception of more population in our territory, through generation economic activity and employment.
The economy of the province is based on agricultural products, tourism, production of energy and services to the population. Our annual budget is around 55 million€ and 293 members of staff. The office of European programs has 6 workers and around 350.000€ year.
The Province of Teruel is LP in SILVER SMES project in Interreg Europe, with a collection of more than 50 GP and influencing the creation of 10 business.
We have participated in C2C4EU with a big success in terms of social cohesion and making closer the EU entities to the citizen and implementing social and political participation.
