Generational Economy, Working Life Trajectories, Time Use, Gender, Fertility and Ageing
Interested in participating as partners in projects dealing with demographic change and the sustainability of welfare state. We are based in Spain, and our team members have research interest and experience in family dynamics and fertility, working-life balance, labour-market trajectories, health and ageing, time-use studies and measuring the generational economy.
The Centre for Demographic Studies (CED, from Spanish Centro de Estudios Demográficos) is located in Barcelona. The CED ranks amongst the top 6 population centers in Europe. Over 65% of CED's budget comes from competitive grants, mainly from European and Spanish research agencies. Its founding mission is the generation of demographic knowledge for policy making and also the provision of training in demography. Information on who we are, what we do, and how we do it is available on our webpage: https://ced.uab.cat/en/
